Introduction of a global customer SSO solution
Conversion of customer authentication procedures to improve the customer journey
Initial situation & problem definition:
Customers use different applications and services that were used inefficiently with different login procedures. The technology used was no longer state of the art and had to be replaced by the latest technology.
Project & implementation
The first step was to develop a comprehensive roles and rights concept for all applications and services based on the latest technologies. In the global changeover that followed, the primary goal was to win customers over to the new single sign-on solution and persuade them to give up their old login habits. In a closely coordinated, concerted effort, all customers were converted country by country together with marketing, IT, the country organizations and the coordinating project. Rollout success was measured and ensured with KPI support.
