Making basic webshop E2E processes globally scalable
Initial situation & problem definition:
The webshop for measuring machine accessories, which had been in existence for years, was not globally scalable with its current processes for the planned ambitious sales targets. The customer information presented was no longer up to date compared to a modern B2B store.
Project & implementation
Following a comprehensive analysis phase with the identification of all fields of action, the first step was to improve the internal agile development processes. In the subsequent phase, the important E2E process Order-to-Deliver was evaluated on the basis of purely data- and KPI-driven analyses and improvement measures were identified/implemented. For the important product data processes (e.g. portfolio measures), the target processes were defined on the basis of analyses and introduced throughout the organization.
